Waterford, CT (July 28, 2012) – Waterford
Speedbowl’s scheduled NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing
program for Saturday, July 28 was cancelled due to heavy rains in
the region.
Also scheduled on Saturday’s card included Northeastern Midget
Racing and vintage auto racing by the Senior Tour Auto Racers, New
England Antique Racers and Vintage Midget Racing Association.
The event was rain-checked, so all patrons should hold their July 28
event tickets and wristbands to receive admission to any future 2012
Speedbowl event or events of equal or lesser value.
Adult grandstands tickets from July 28 will be honored for up to a
$22.00 value for future grandstands admission, while Youth tickets
from July 28 will be valued at $6.00 for future admission. Patrons
must turn in their July 28 event tickets at the Speedbowl Box Office
at the event of their choice to receive the rain-check offer. A
listing of upcoming events is available online at Speedbowl.com.
No make-up date for the event as originally scheduled has been
announced at this time.
